With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jauquita Hargus of Bowie, Texas, born in Paducah, Texas, who passed away on July 5, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hood and Jeanice Hood. She is survived by: her sister Bobbie Nell Atkinson of Texarkana, Texas; her daughters, Karen Cronin (Michael) of The Villages and Kathy Powers (Donnie) of Henderson, Texas; and her grandchildren, Russell Turnage (Tracey) of Tulsa, Robert Turnage (Gretchen) of Minneapolis, Dr. Hillary Wall (Jon Cooper) of Lubbock and Lawson Powers of Ft. Worth, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren had, came from their grandmother rather than their parents.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Texarkana Symphony, Texas A & M University-Texarkana or Central Christian Church.
