James Warren Reed Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Warren Reed of Bowie, Texas, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Maynard Kotara; his father-in-law Greg Houston; and his uncle Byron Reed. He is survived by: his father Floyd Reed; his pet Loretta; his wife Ashley Houston Reed; his children, Mason and Carter Reed; his mother Rhonda Kotara Reed (Kotara); his brothers, Matt Reed (Brandy) and Adam Reed; his grandparents, Pastor Jamie Reed (Joyce) of Bowie, June Penn of Bowie, Beverly of Bowie and Bob McWilliams of Bowie; his aunt Kathy Davis of Bowie, TX; his mother-in-law Connie Garrison Houston; his sister-in-law Abby Houston Harrell (John) of Rockwall, TX.; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Kimber, Sassy, Piper, Kutter, Keaton, McKray, Brig and Kord. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who became brothers.
