It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Dawkins (Bowie, Texas), born in Ballinger, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Dawkins and Lillian Katherine Dawkins (Havner); his stepfather Carl Elliott; his sisters, Kathy Cole and Betty Conine; and his brother-in-law Don Henry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cydney Dawkins of Bowie and Jodi Guillory (Terry) of Bowie; his former wife Brenda Dawkins of Bowie; his siblings, LaRee Henry of Abilene and William Dawkins of Hobbs, N. M.; his grandchildren, Cutter Covington of Bowie and Eliora Nunn of Buffalo Springs, TX; and his brothers-in-law, Lynn Cole and Jerry Conine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
