With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harlan Ray Elkins of Bowie, Texas, born in Belton, Texas, who passed away on November 3, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Austin and Margaret Elizabeth Elkins (McBride); his wife Jo Elkins; and his siblings, James Odell "Pete" Elkins and Margaret Louise Reynolds.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carla Puckett (Larry) of Odessa, TX, Stacy Gibson (Mark) of Bowie and Jackie Elkins (Steven Paz) of Odessa; his close friend Shane Cooper of Wimberly, TX; and his grandchildren, Talitha Bullock (Alan), Amanda Hixon, Mica Aaron (Shaun Holt), Krista Elkins (Robert Chin), Lakin Aaron (Aubrey) and Adison Pearl (Clay). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
