It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances McCarty (Bowie, Texas), who passed away on January 5, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence C. Foster and Seba Foster (Slaughter); her grandparents, George O. and Minnie Slaughter (Graves); her grandson James Michael McCarty; her children, Celeste Lewis (James) of Denton, Charity Sutton (Jerry) of Bowie and Melissa McCarty of Bowie; and her husband James C. McCarty. She was also cherished by her children serving as den mother for cub scouts, helping with Blue Birds/Camp fire, church choirs, band parents.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
