She was predeceased by: her parents, L. L. McCown and Beulah McCown (Coker); her husband Rev. Homer Martin; her son Michael Martin; and her siblings, Harlan McCown, A. B. McCown and Charlene Ragsdale.

She is survived by: her children, Jan and Sue Martin. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
