He is survived by: his children, Rocky Gates, Joey and Amy Gates; his grandchildren, Austin Haire, Alex Gates, Nicole Gates and Eva Gates; his nephew Paul Hamm; and his niece Cindy Hanken. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
