He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancel Barnes and Mamie Barnes (Brantley); and his sister Norrella Sue Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Edward Barnes (Brittany), Jeffrey Barnes, Sarah Barnes of Bowie and Crystal Barnes of Florida; his grandchildren, Mia of Bowie, Ian of Bowie, Kynley of Bowie, Ali of Bowie, Raynjer of Bowie and Kayden of Bowie; and his sisters, Billie Holdbrook, Kaye Anderson and Melodee Civiletto. He is also survived by 1 niece; three nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
