He is survived by: his parents, Cary William Tate Sr. and Anita June Mead (Brett Mead); his former wife Donna Smith; his children, Westen Smith of Colorado and Sierra Cheyenne Smith; his stepdaughter Jessica Klinehart; his brother Morgan Dean Tate (Courtney Anne Tate); his stepbrothers, Jesse Mead (Lauren) and Clint Mead (Autumn); his grandchildren, Irelyn Smith, Tyler Smith, Silas Smith, Cheylee Smith, Niki Klinehart and Alex Klinehart; his nephew Justin Case Tate; and his niece Caitlin Michelle Eaton. He is also survived by Numerous aunts and uncles, dozens of first cousins and many dozen second cousins.
