Bobby Gene Lively Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Gene Lively of Bowie, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bobby Gene Lively to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Lively and Beulah Lively; his wife Shirley Jo Wood; his daughter Kristi Alexander; and his brother Bill Lively.
He is survived by: his children, Suzan, Kenton Holloway, Steven, Veda Lively, Kevin and Michelle Lively; his brothers, Gerald (Peggy Lively) and Larry (Sharron Lively); and his grandchildren, Scott, Sara Holloway, Shane, Rachael Holloway, Kendra, Jake Rainey, Megan Lively, Lindsay Lively, Kristen Lively, Nathan Lively, Beckham Anderson, Cambria Lively and Anistyn Lively. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (1418 TX-59, Bowie, TX 76230). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the DFW National Cemetery.
