He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLendon and Daisy McLendon (McDonald); and his siblings, Gene McLendon, Jack McLendon, Bob McLendon, Mike McLendon, Pat McLendon and Glenna Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce McLendon of Bowie; his children, Tammy Keller (Howie) of Keller, TX and Billy McLendon Jr. (Tonya Dickerson) of Midland, TX; his grandchildren, John McLendon, Hanna McLendon, Trevor McLendon and Jacy Keller; his great grandchildren, Landon, Melody and Becca; and his siblings, James McLendon, Jerry McLendon, Shirley Wilkins, Deborah McLendon and Linda McLendon.
