She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harvey Medley and Alta Mae Medley (Jack Curtis Ellis); her child Baby Boy Ellis; her siblings, Major Sterling Medley, Bobbie Lavern Medley and Marguiette Louise Wickham; and her grandson Michael Paul.
She is survived by: her husband George McCarley; her children, Marie, Georgina Rachelle Healer (David), Edward Burk McCarley (Christy), Jason Cole Ellis (Renee) and Gwendolyn Yvette Griggs (Steve); her grandchildren, Christie Walker (Robin), Brandi Sparks (Cecil), Monica Garcia (Adam), Kristen McCarley, James McCarley, Kara Watts (John), Justin Ellis and Leland Sims; her great grandchildren, Katelynn Price (Tyler), Ali Walker, Hunter, Madeline, Eli of Ben, JJ, Julia, Jolene Garcia, RJ Walker and Jesse Wynn; and her great great grandchild Nolan Price.
After a brief illness of Covid and Pneumonia, she went to her Final Rest at home with her children and grandchildren in attendance.
