Ala Louise Reaves Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ala Louise Reaves (Bowie, Texas), who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. L. Edgin Jr. and Betty Jo Gilbreath Edgin; her husband Bill Reaves; and her daughter Leaha Reaves. She is survived by: her children, Jaret Reaves (Lisa) of Gainesville, TX, Elizabeth Hale of Garland, TX and Rebecca Brooks (Kevin) of Bowie; her grandchildren, Kenlea Reaves, Macey Reaves, Shane Hale (Julia), Cassiopeia Beasley (Vester), Kolton Brooks (Sadi), Krista Brooks and Kevin Clay Brooks (Mercedes); and her siblings-in-law, Herbert Reaves of Bowie, George A. Reaves of San Angelo, TX and Emma Mae Large of Bowie. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
