Bettie Fortson Courter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2021, at the age of 89, Bettie Fortson Courter of Bosqueville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fortson McCown Scott and Fleta Lynette Scott; her sister Jane Scott Leach; and her brother-in-law Jack Kuehl. She is survived by: her husband Wallace Max Courter; her children, Lynette Rogers (Jay) and Brian Courter (Rosalind); her sister Laurita Kuehl; her brother-in-law Bill Leach; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Simone Flottmann-Rogers), Sara Glatter and Thomas Glatter; her great grandchildren, Djuna Rogers, Jonah Rogers and Cohen Castillo; her nieces, Janet Combs (Patrick) and Rita Engelbrecht (Kevin); her nephew Sloan Kuehl (Rachel Wilde); and her pet Kitty-Cat. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers and usual rememberances, the family requests donations be made in Bettie's honor to Fuzzy Friends Rescue.
