It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Sue Kersey of Borger, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Earnest and Gladys Earnest; her husband James Kersey; and her siblings, Mary Jo (Stoney Eddins), Johnny, Oliver (Mary Lou Earnest), Bobbie (Bill Jackson), Earl (Barbara Earnest) and Ronnie Earnest.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Franco (Jerry Franco) of Borger and Ray Kersey of Borger; her grandchildren, Erin (Jordon Robertson) of Canyon and Evan Franco of Borger; and her great grandchildren, Elijah and Naomi Robertson of Canyon.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Chapel of the Fountains (206 W 1st St, Borger, TX 79007). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westlawn Cemetery.
