Shirley Bruce Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Bruce of Borger, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Humphreys and Alta Faye Humphreys (Ross); her husband James; her son Noel Proffitt; and her brothers, Doc and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her daughter Elda Newman (Gary) of Borger; and her stepchildren, Leslie Monden (Richard) of Stinnett, Linda Crawford (Larry) of Round Rock, Stacy Bruce of Austin, Texas and Jimmy Bruce (Micki) of Georgia. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that memorial donations may be made in Shirley Bruce's honor to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
