He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hernandez Sr. and Luz Sanchez Hernandez; his sisters, Virginia Hernandez, Trini Gamez, Lupe Cerda and Dolores Lewis; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Betty Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Meyer; his children, Nick Hernandez (Natasha), Matt Hernandez (Kristen), Kristeen Hernandez, Delinda Fielder (Shane) and Natalie Salazar (Chris); his sisters, Rose Valdez and Carolyn Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Max and Maggie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (100 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007).
