She was predeceased by: her parents, Milam M Murphy and Priscilla Farris; her spouse Cyburn Nicholas; her son Dwaine C. Nicholas; her stepfather Clarence J. Moore; and her siblings, David C. Moore, Billy Joe Murphy, Mila May Starr and Opal Juanita Lowery.
She is survived by: her daughter Percilla Newberry; her daughter-in-law Linda Nicholas; her grandchildren, Paul Newberry (Trish), Kimberly Holjes (Daniel), Sharon Prock (Chief) and Teresa Bodey; and her great grandchildren, Tristan McDaniel, Davin Holjes, Daxton Holjes, Halle Holjes, Chase Prock and Taelor Bodey.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors - Borger (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007).
