It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ken Gurwell (Borger, Texas), born in Guymon, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 10, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Gurwell and Irene Lile Gurwell; and his siblings, Elizabeth Gurwell Lewis, Ralph Gurwell and Richard Gurwell.
He is survived by: his wife Aleta Jo; his daughter Holly Gurwell Shelton (Chris) of Canyon; his granddaughters, Abigail Shelton and Isabelle Shelton; his brother-in-law Bill Lewis of Guymon; and his nephew Mark Lewis (Judy) of Guymon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
