He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ollis and Gussie Ollis (Chuculate); his spouse Bobbie Elrod; his sons, James Ollis, Jr., Danny Ollis and Kyle Ollis; and his siblings, Henry Nave, Everett Nave and Julie Archer.
He is survived by: his adoptive children, Bobby Bristow (Kay Sengthavorn) of Amarillo and Lacy Bristow of Amarillo; his children, Keith Ollis of Oklahoma and Sandra Lynn Ferguson of Amarillo; and his grandchildren, Jordan Sengthavorn and Caden Bristow. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
