He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Roden and Ora Roden; his wife Sally Roden; his sisters, Ola Wilborn, Geneva Roden and Ileta Francis; and his stepson Steve Cook.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Roden; and his stepchildren, Johnny Cook, Mike Cook, Jeff Cook and Debbie Sterling. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren.
