It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Martin Thompson (Borger, Texas), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Thompson and Eva Thompson (Robertson); his former wife Sallie; and his brother Ray Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sara Lou Calmes; his daughters, Debbie Winegar (Robert), Carla Thompson, Gayla Cox (Buddy) and Angela Kaplan (John); his grandchildren, Scott Winegar, Trey Cox (Haley), Casey Winegar, Bradley Cox (Cala), Zach Kaplan (Allyson), Courtney Bain (Benjamin) and Hannah Kennedy (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Camden, Stella, Darby, Calloway, Bella, Oscar and Luke.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Covenant Church (200 N McGee St, Borger, TX 79007).
In lieu of flowers, Don's memory may be honored with a gift to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PO Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700) or a favorite charity.
