He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Howard and Clara "Merle" Wilson Howard; his wife Deborah Kay Morrow Howard; his son David Howard; and his brother David Howard.
He is survived by: his son Richard Howard (Reagan) of Minco, Oklahoma; his daughter-in-law Candace Howard of Minco, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Aspen Ryans (Blake), Talon, Haven and Hailey; and his siblings, Danny Howard (Brenda), Patricia Overby, Lela Jane Hynes, Myrna Sue Nickens and Reba Ann Tucker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
