He was predeceased by: his parents, Esker "Buck" Wayne Whitson and Linnie Lue Albright Whitson; his wife Judith Whitson; his brother Wayne Whitson; and the mother of his child Barbara Opdenhoff.
He is survived by: his daughter Ronna Hopson (Frank); his grandsons, Ryan James Hopson (Ashley) and Caleb Shawn Hopson (Baleigh); and his great grandchildren, Jovie, Briar, Knoxley and Crew.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Fairlanes Baptist Church (3000 Fairlanes Blvd, Borger, TX 79007).
