She is survived by: her husband Howie Lewis; her parents, Mark W. Vance and Mary M. Thomas; her children, Allie Byrd and Zane Byrd; her stepchild Hunter Lewis of Shea Lewis; her grandson Brycen Lewis; her siblings, Melissa, Whitekiller, Amelia Vance and Christopher Vance; her grandmother Ilene Vance; and her mother-in-law Charlotte Lewis. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
