She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Snowbarger and Blanche Snowbarger (Rothrock); her husband Carl Ruben Cates; her siblings, Darrel Snowbarger, Marieta Cates and Darlene Mathers; and her daughters, Beverly Ann Kinsey and Norma Lee Cornell.
She is survived by: her sister Eulela Goerlitz of Winterhaven, Florida; and her grandchildren, Jon Cornell, Candace Kristensson of Denver, CO and Mark Kinsey of Beaver County, OK. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
