He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Kerns and Virgie Kerns (Cherry); his wife Freda Follis; his children, Ken Kerns of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Kemberly Balzer of Austin and Kayla Bechthold of Booker, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jamie Kerns, Kevin Kerns, Brent McDaniel, Bo McDaniel, Kristin Balzer, Brice Haines, Brook Trenkle and Paige Bechthold. He was also cherished by eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
