Lillie Pearl Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillie Pearl Johnson of Booker, Texas, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fredrick Kemp and Zata Esma Cook; her husband Wallace Dene Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Mickey Kemp, Doris Hill, Betty Johnson, Lenney Hickman, J. R. Harris, Lloyd Johnson, Jim Johnson, Ralph Johnson, Virgil Johnson and Charlie Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Randall D. Johnson of Perryton, Texas and Alice Babineaux; her son-in-law Felix Babineaux of Liberal, Kansas; her siblings, Arlena Hickman of Lebanon, Wanda Harris of Elk City, Oklahoma, Vernon Kemp of Darrouzett and Donald Kemp of Dumas, Texas; her grandchildren, Alyssa Babineaux of Liberal, Kansas and Aaron Babineaux of Liberal, Kansas; her great grandchildren, Laya Babineaux, Skyla Babineaux and Casey Babineaux of Liberal, Kansas; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Hawkins of Kansas City, Ann Jones of Kansas City and Mary Alice Johnson of Clarksdale, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (110 Santa Fe Ave, Darrouzett, TX 79024).
