He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Sims and Anna Lee Sims; and his son Derek. He is survived by: his wife Carla Sue Ridgway; his daughters, Bridgett Sims of Weatherford and Sarah Kester (Shane) of Weatherford, Texas; his grandsons, Cole Kester and Grant Kester; and his pet Ned.
