He is survived by: his brother Ray; his sister-in-law LaVada Viola Kerns; his son Michael Ray (Renee) of Booker; his sister-in-law Marilyn Yvonne Shipman; his wife Marilyn; his son Jay of Booker; his granddaughter Marla Durant (Antonio) of McAllen; his son Meridith Gibson (Colby) of Lubbock; his great grandchildren, Julieta, Luka, Ezra Durant, Andrew and Ella Gibson; and his stepchildren, Vonda Brannan (Ron) of Granbury, Lori Jack (Weldon) of Canadian and Paul Shipman (Kellye) of Marion. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren.
