He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Brown of Bonham, TX; his sons, James Stuart Melton (Kacie) of The Colony, TX and William Christopher Melton (Dawn) of Anna, TX; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Britney, Justin, Brandee and Kaleb; his niece Melissa Benton Miner; and his nephew Kevin Compton.
