She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Harmon Lakey and Bessie Lee Dillard; her husband Buford B. Stroud; her son Michael L. Stroud; and her siblings, Willie Arthur Lakey, Euless Lakey, Billy Lakey, Clarence Lakey, Roy Lakey, Vena Lakey Craig and Ella Lakey Coughren.
She is survived by: her brother Jimmy Lakey of Irving, TX; her grandson Michael W. Stroud; her great grandchildren, Connor, Khaleesi and Arya Stroud of Bonham, TX; and her grandson Matthew Stroud (Ying Ling Mo). She is also survived by great-grandchild.
