He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Edison Thomas and Floy Thomas Pearson; his stepfather Claude Pearson; and his siblings, Leon Dewayne Thomas, Willam Glen Thomas (Bill) and Darlene Bateman.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Sparks (Rich) and Joe Thomas (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cesaley Hill (Casey), Cole Sparks (Abbie), Alexis Thomas (Hayden), Zane Thomas, Cody Edwards, Kaitlyn Edwards, Caleb Dalton, Timothy Ritchie, Erica Allen (Cody), Kayla Wright, Brandee Brandon (Bryan) and Brent Wright (Nicole); and also, Leslie Smart, Amber Wright (David) and James Ritchie (Melanie). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
