He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Young and Lina Hull Young; his daughter Cynthia Young; and his siblings, Doyle Young, Carlyle Young, Juanella Mowrey and Thursa Smith.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Rice; his wife Linda Young of Bonham, Texas; his daughter Jenny Burdine (Joe) of Bonham, Texas; his sister Margie Davis of Denton, Texas; his grandchildren, Justin Burdine, Jessica Wright (Jared) and Joanna Torres (Carlos); and his great grandchildren, Makoa Torres, Nalani Torres and Rowen Torres. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
