He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Bailey Jr. and Hesta Lena McCollum Bailey; and his brother Julian Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bailey of Bonham, Texas; his daughter Shelly Coulter (Tony) of Celina, Texas; his brother Bennett Bailey (Eliase) of Crossville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kayla Ishmael, Trevor Coulter, Abigail Coulter, Will Coulter and Clint Coulter (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Thomas Miller and Sage Coulter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
