She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lavelle Opal and Charles Edmund Bright; her brother Max Nash of Horn Lake, MS; her children, Cynthia Preston of Bonham, Virginia Elliott of Commerce and Rodney Preston of Campbell; her husband Jimmy W. Preston; and her daughters, Crystal Preston and Jimmie Preston (Sherri). She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
