He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard MacConnell and Robena MacConnell; his wife JoAnn Herring MacConnell; his daughter Nanette MacConnell Grizzle; his son-in-law Jay of Paris; his grandson Nick Grizzle (Stacy); his great grandchildren, Ben and Samantha of Rowlett, Texas.; his siblings, Eddie and Sally MacConnell; his sisters-in-law, Nelda Cone of Bonham and Myra Gandy (Les); his niece Leslie Wills of Stephenville; his parents-in-law, Chester and Iris Herring; his brother-in-law Jamie Cone; and his nephews, Scott and Bryan Cone.
