He is survived by: his wife Carol Monte of Bonham; his children, Michael Monte Jr. (Donna) of Bonham, Paul Monte (Jennifer) of Allen, Texas, Anne Marie Monte Burks (Darin) of Smithville, OK and Elizabeth Monte Brown (Bryan) of Van Alstyne, TX; his brother Joseph Monte (Carole) of Lewes, Delaware; his grandchildren, Jeremy Monte (Amanda), John Evans (Heather), Brooke Monte, Ashley Monte, Kendall Burks, Jessica Clemens (Tyler) and Joshua Brown; his great grandchildren, Samantha Bennett, William Monte, Hunter Monte, Gavin Monte, Lily Evans and Cole Clemens; his brothers-in-law, Alan Kinard (Gloria) of Cedar Town, GA and Joe Mazzei of Denton, TX; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
