He is survived by: his friend Kevin Towery; his wife Jo Ann; his children, Mark Lon Fanning (Amanda) of Burleson and Amanda Gilbreath (Chris) of Bonham; his grandchildren, Aaron Lon Fanning, Codie Gilbreath, John Gilbreath and Colton Fanning; his siblings, Jim Fanning of McAllen and Nedra Davis of San Miguel; and his sister-in-law Wanda Norris of Bonham.
