It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Franklin of Bonham, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wallace Franklin and Etta Lee Darwin Franklin; and his daughter Tammy Terese Franklin Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Cherlin Elizabeth Franklin of Bonham, Texas; his daughter Kimberly Champ (Dean) of Sherman, Texas; his siblings, Jimmy Franklin (Hopie) of Decatur, Oklahoma and Anne McBroom of Prosper, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jordan Champ, Connor Champ and Hudson Barnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
