It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Scott Blackard of Bonham, Texas, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Blackard and Jerrine Blackard (Cheek); and his sister Robbie. He is survived by: his son Kenneth James Blackard; his wife Pat Blackard (Isbell); his children, Lisa Blackard Ortiz (Blackard), Ben of Powderly and Ruth (Sanchez) of Quinlan, Texas; his grandchildren, Justin Blackard-Ortiz of Powderly, Brittany Ortiz and Shonda (Gorton) of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and his great grandchildren, Pitcher Scott (Gorton) of Ft. Smith and Numerous of Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bells First United Methodist Church.
