He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy David Moore and Vera Faye Williams Moore; and his siblings, Mac Mahoney and Laura Moore. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Michelle Welker (Mark) of Burford and Jaclyn Moore (Andy Smith) of Dacula, Georgia; his siblings, Billy Moore of Bonham, Texas, Willie Mahoney of DeSoto and Diana Moore Hayhurst (Jim) of Cypress, Texas; his grandchildren, Taylor Hicks (Evan), Sarah Holcomb, Payton Walker and Liam Smith; and his great grandchild Addison Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
