She was predeceased by: her parents, Callan Speights, Sr. and Jennie Wickson Speights; her husband James Dwain Martin; and her sisters, Rita Compton, Carrie Gibson and Patsy Speights.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Martin (Gayla) of Pilot Point, TX and Ginger Jackson (Jack) of Pearland, TX; her siblings, Sam Speights of Garland, TX, Douglass Speights of Brownwood, TX, Curtis Speights of Richardson, TX, Debbie Sims of Carthage, TX, Phyllis Blackwood of Lovington, NM and Barbara Duncan of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, Sharlot Mortl (Kyle), Hadley Clement, Kaleb Jackson and Savannah Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Lyla and Luna Mortl. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
