He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Simmons and Doris Simmons; and his wife Gloria. He is survived by: his children, Randy Simmons (Mary) of Colbert, Oklahoma, Karen Fulenchek (Ronnie) of McKinney, Texas, Pamela Simmons and Larry Simmons of Sherman; and his brothers, Ronald Simmons (Jean), Dana Simmons (Rita), Neil Simmons (Rayetta) and Mark Simmons (Reah). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Texoma Medical Center Volunteers in Denison, Texas.
