He is survived by: his son John Coleman Echols (Alma Lou Winn Echols); his significant other Cathy Forbis; his close friend Cathy Forbis; his daughters, Rena Sisson (Larry) of Paris and Ashley Spann of Paris; his siblings, Larry Echols (Marilyn) of Sherman and Terrie Echols of Bonham; his granddaughter ShiAnn Sisson; his great grandchild Bryson James; his nieces, Christi Tynan (John) of Ivanhoe, TX and Rebecca Martin of Bonham, TX; his great-nephew Gary Spaugh; and his great-nieces, Hailey Martin and Tori Martin.
