He is survived by: his children, Dennis Nelms (Susie) of Dodd City, TX, Kelly Nelms (Pam) of Bonham, TX and Shelly Nichols (David) of Dodd City, TX; his stepdaughter Casey Fry (Lance) of Dodd City, TX; his brother Gary Lee Nelms (Darlene); his grandchildren, Lisa Williams, Cody Joe Nelms, Cathy Jones, John Nichols, Stacy Nichols, Wesley Howard, John Nelms and Justin Nelms; his stepgrandchildren, Braden, Cailee and Abbie Fry; his close friend Margaret Childress of Bonham, TX; his grandchildren, Gracie, Kolby and Willow; and also, Crystal and Bobby. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
