With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Jean McCullough (Bonham, Texas), who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Billie Jean leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie McCullough of Hunt and Frank McCullough of Longview; his daughter Wanda Escobedo of Blossom; and his grandson Robby Britton of The Colony, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Nell McCullough of Paris; and his daughters, Shirley Markwood of Paris, Barbara Cantu of Victoria and Mary Latimer (Jimmy) of Blossom. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060).
