She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Rigsbay and Sarah Rigsbay (Kenyon); her husband Leon Medcalf; her son Jesse Medcalf; her granddaughter Rachel Medcalf Roberts; her great grandchild Tyler Roberts; and her siblings, Bill, Joe Rigsbay, Lois Ulch, Linda Hawthorne and Estelle Graham.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Garrett; her daughter Wanda Oliver (David); her daughter-in-law Patti Medcalf; her grandchildren, Shannon (Cristi), Keller Holmes, Nathan and Eric Medcalf (Lisa); and her siblings, Gerry Monolo (Reno), Ethel Woodson, Cail Isaac (Jackie) and Albert Rigsbay. She is also survived by great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cottage Hill Cemetery (11400 FM2478, Celina, TX 75009).
