She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo McMurry and Mary McMurry. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Stroud; her son Daniel Turner (Mc); and her grandchildren, Jack and Finn.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
