He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Svatek and Rosie Mikes Svatek; his son Joel Svatek (Joey); and his siblings, Rosalie Yawn, Frances Adamick, Frankie Svatek and Ed Svatek.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bosch Svatek; his children, Dennis Svatek, Jr. (Marcie), Dustin Svatek, Christy Gonzales (JJ) and Melissa Svatek (Matt Richardson); his grandchildren, Courtney Svatek, Stephen Svatek, Kylee Svatek, Caitlin Richardson and Madison Gonzales; and his siblings, Lille Wittig (Leonard), Jerry Svatek Sr. and Leonard Svatek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and close friends.
